Hello! I'm back, this time with a view into what products I use. I got asked by some people what products I use for my skin. I personally don't think my skin is great, it's always red and dry! But thanks to good genes I hardly get pimples (I hope I don't jinx myself!). I do change my routine throughout the seasons but most of the time, it's only adding and taking out a product. This is because I live in Australia and most of the time its super hot and my face is always oily!
For face wash I used to use Pond's flawless white and Perfect Whip but since November 2014 I've changed to Cetaphil and it has definitely helped my skin! I could see visible changes such as redness decreasing and overall my skin texture being better. When I used Pond's and Perfect Whip, afterwards there was always a burning and drying sensation. This may be due to my sensitive skin. Changing to Cetaphil has also helped my pocket! I got a 1 litre bottle when Priceline had 40% off skincare products- got it for $15, super cheap!
St Ives scrub I only use it once every 2 weeks. If i use it too much I find that I break out.
When I do break out I like to use Formula 10.0.6 Pores Be Pure Mud Mask. Using this product when I have pimples or when my skin feels horrible is a holy grail. After using it my skin feels amazing, soft and refreshed.
WITCH HAZEL IS A HOLY GRAIL PRODUCT. I've always seen this bottle of 'Witch Hazel' at the supermarket and it has always made me curious as to what Witch Hazel is. I just can't even start at the benefits it has. It made my skin AMAZING. It helped with redness and small pimples. Maybe thats due to the ability it has to tighten the skin- closed pores? One reason that I stopped using it was that, I found if I used it everyday I would gradually break out and the smell was awful. I'd definitely recommend buying one on iherb. My friend uses it and she says its more gentle as it has got no alcohol.
SUISSE PROGRAMME HYDRA SOLUTION- What I currently use. I really love love LOVE this product. Its light, smells nice and my skin feels super hydrated after I use it. It is a little on the pricier side. Around 50-70$ for a bottle? (I got mine on a Sasa sale for $35). As much as I love it I probably wouldn't buy it again it for the normal price. I would want to try IOPE for that price as I have heard amazing things about their skincare line. (IOPE Bio Essence Intensive Conditioning)
BIORÉ TRIPLE ACTION TONER - one I use when I can't find the other 2. Its ok, It kind of burns though.
SUKIN MOISTURE RESTORING NIGHT CREAM- I only use this at night when my skin is feeling super super yuck! (I can't explain it. Just when you know your about to break out or something.) I love this because its paraben free and made in Australia! It smells good as well! kinda of like oranges. This product is definitely one you should have on hand. I use to use this every single day until I found out about Scinic Aqua EX Jelly Cream.
SUKIN ROSE HIP OIL- Only use it in winter or on my dry spots.
CLINIQUE ALL ABOUT EYES RICH- I use this for my under eyes at night and before I put concealer on my eyes as it helps with dryness and fine lines.
SCINIC AQUA EX JELLY CREAM- Super Hydrating and refreshing. Made in Korea and is a gel formula. Gel is good for oily skin, as it's lighter than creams and is known for being a better choice for pimple suffers. I currently use this because Australia is currently so hot at night I feel as if my face is melting. With this on as the last step, its so refreshing and cooling. I haven't found this anywhere in Australia as I brought this off Sasa. The price for this is a little pricey. (NOTE: As I was looking for the price off sasa, I noticed that they were having another 65% off the price of this product. Making it come to $27!) Would I buy this again? YES!- I actually did.
CLEARASIL PIMPLE CREAM- I've been using this since I was 12. This works for my skin as I have small weak pimples.
NUXE LIP BALM- I use this when my lips are chapped and dry (mostly at night)
LOCCITANE HAND CREAM- Smells amazing and works!
